Introduction to Digital Photography









 

The introduction to Digital Underwater Photography course is designed to introduce you to digital underwater photography using today’s point-and-shoot and SLR digital cameras. This course will help students develop the knowledge, skills and practical techniques necessary to take excellent photographs with a digital camera.

The introductory course is primarily for those interested in learning the basics of digital underwater photography. The basic course consists two dives and classes to review your photographs.

  • Equipment Orientation
  • Basic Exposure Control
  • Using an Accessory Slave Flash
  • Macro and Close-Up Underwater Photography
  • Wide-Angle Underwater Photography
  • Composition of Underwater Photography
  • Understand the color of light underwater
  • Image editing software
  • How to backup your images
  • Preparing photos for emailing and printing
  • Save, organize and archive your images.

The cost for the course $150.00 per student . The price does not include your entrance fee to Dutch Springs and other diving expenses. Olympus underwater cameras and housings will be supplied.
Minimum of 2 students.

The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty Course certification is included.
